Remembering two friends . . .
In this concert the choir is celebrating the lives of two dear friends. John Graves, who died in 2016, sang with us for about 30 years until he and Rosemary retired a few years ago. His pure tenor voice and gentle personality were much loved by all of us privileged to know him.
Henry Maitland joined the choir over 20 years ago and was still an active member when he died on January 1st this year. Henry was a stalwart of the bass line and we often featured his wonderful speaking voice in concerts when his warm and humorous delivery delighted audiences - and us!
We remember them with affection and miss them both.
