The Church of St John the Baptist, Mount Bures
Sunday 20th March 2005 at 7.00pm
The evening's main work, "The Crucifixion", is surely one of the most popular "mini-oratorios" and, traditionally performed during Holy Week, has been sung up and down the country in virtually every parish church over the last century. Once again the choir is pleased to welcome soloists Howard Robinson and Tom Cogan. The concert opens with a glorious baroque motet followed by a work by Colchester-based composer, Alan Bullard.
Tickets are £8, and will include a glass of wine.
Tickets can be purchased in advance but will also be available on the door.
